Actually, kinda is true but it's not in the amounts people think. Like 3% of the DNA, maybe. and actually most of that DNA is Arabs to the East. And Arabs certainly spread genetics to Moroccans and Algerians at some point prior to Spain.
I remember looking up YouTube videos of Spaniards doing DNA tests to see how much North African they had in them and all of them had little to none. Most were dark haired with fairly olive skinned too.
One dude was darker than Busquets and was like 99.2% European lol. I guess you can be all European but a few thousand years in a sunny area will tan you up.
