Crime Donald Trump Hush Money Fraud Trial (5/30 Update: Trump Found Guilty on All 34 Felony Charges)

media circus. more distractions. trump trump trump. ratings.

More like Trump, Trump, Trump, rantings about how it isn't fair, how unfairly he's treated, sick of his constant whining stop committing crimes or at very least be smarter about it so you ain't that easy to catch. You don't see them pinning anything on crooked Joe.

I will say he's the most resilient politician I have ever seen. Dude been hit scandal after scandal , the almost full weight of the media against him , now case after case. I can't think of a single current politician who wouldn't of quit, gone home and curled in a ball under bed several times over.
After nearly 10 years of this Trump fiasco, I'm starting to think he went into politics the same way an aging fighter moves up or down a weight class, just so they can crush cans.

Perhaps Trump had his balls spit shined as a big-wig political donor so much during the 80s and 90s and he saw how spineless and weak the politicians in both parties actually are. Then moving into 30 Rockefeller for the Apprentice, he saw how the rancid political news sausage was made by the pathetic lowlife scumsuckers in the mainstream media and realized Washington DC could become his oyster.

For what it's worth, I'd have been rock hard if the Democrats could have taken him down a long time ago, instead I see how inept and incompetent they are as tomato cans and the slimy bastard always ends up looking like a superstar teflon Don to me now.

I'd say I hate to agree with you but....

I do

That’ll be the defense’s job in summation, to give potential sympathetic jurors a plausible argument. They didn’t make one during the trial, and “Cohen’s a liar” doesn’t work as a justifiable hold out against 11 other jurors by itself, given all the evidence that backs him up. And that Costello debacle, sheesh. What a huge mistake. We’ll see what they can come up with in closing.
Cohen was Trumps fixer for nearly a dozen years.

Yeah we know he is a crook, that's why Trump e emoloyed him

I have wondering if this all a political circus.

TRump a lifelong democrat and reality star working with the established structure (or manipulated by it) to keep the show going.

The last 10 years has been like a scripted hollywood movie ie. Idiocracy

“This is a Frankenstein case. They took a dead misdemeanor. They attached it to a dead alleged federal felony and zapped it back into life. So many of us are just amazed to watch this actually walk into court, because it's not a recognizable crime that any of us have seen. This does not appear to be a federal crime, but that's the theory that Bragg is using. This state misdemeanor died because of the statute of limitations. Then what Bragg said was, well, I'm going to allege that you did false filings on business records to hide a crime, but he was very ambiguous [on] what that crime might be. He still is ambiguous, but it is assumed to be a federal election crime.” - George Washington University School of Law professor and Democrat Jonathan Turley

Another real question is... why did Hillary Clinton's New York based campaign only face fines for the Steele Dossier and their lies on accounting regarding it, while Trump got a Felony charge for far less? Something is (D)ifferent.

<Waaah>

As the verdict draws nigh the Chuds are in a full on panic...pretty telling.

I'll have to wait to hear how summation goes, but I'm glad we are getting to the end of this trial.

Special Counsel Jack Smith is asking the federal judge overseeing the Mar-a-Lago documents case to make clear that former President Donald Trump is prohibited from making false statements that endanger law enforcement officers. Trump and his campaign have recently made several false and inflammatory claims about the FBI that Smith says have put federal agents and officials at risk.

The request came late Friday in the federal case over Trump’s willful retention of classified documents and attempts to obstruct justice after leaving the White House.

In a fundraising email and social media posts earlier in the week, Trump claimed that, when the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago to retrieve classified documents it believed Trump was illegally keeping there, the agents were empowered—and even wanted—to kill him. “BIDEN’S DOJ WAS AUTHORIZED TO SHOOT ME!” a fundraising email stated. “You know they’re just itching to do the unthinkable … Joe Biden was locked & loaded ready to take me out & put my family in danger.”

This is untrue. The warrant included standard language about use of force that is in fact meant to avoid violence. Further, the FBI took significant steps to avoid a confrontation with Trump, including waiting for him to leave the state to conduct the raid when he and his family would not be on the premises.

Trump’s statements “create a grossly misleading impression about the intentions and conduct of federal law enforcement agents—falsely suggesting that they were complicit in a plot to assassinate him—and expose those agents, some of whom will be witnesses at trial, to the risk of threats, violence, and harassment,” Smith’s filing states.

Smith asks federal Judge Aileen Cannon to modify Trump’s conditions of release to prohibit the ex-president from making “public statements that pose a significant, imminent, and foreseeable danger to the law enforcement
agents participating in the investigation and prosecution of this case.” The motion mentions that a Trump supporter attacked an FBI office in Ohio in 2022 after Trump made inflammatory statements about the agency.

How about just revoke his release.... Trump is a dangerous cult leader.
Lock Him Up!!!

^^^ When they have no retort, but only Left Cult beliefs.

Well the rebuttal's pretty easy. In fact, it's been given to you half a dozen times already. You always refuse to respond and then leave the thread to repeat the stupid question somewhere else. So buckle up kiddo, and remember, this rebuttal isn't for you, it's for the people you are trying to lie to:

The crime in question is a violation of campaign finance laws. Specifically, that you disclose what you spend any campaign funds on. So when trump didn't disclose that he spent over six figures paying hush money to a porn star, he was in violation of said law.

So, if you believe Trumps version that the payment by Cohen was just done out of the goodness of his heart, you'd vote not guilty. However if you believe the testimony from Cohen that he paid on behalf of trump; the testimony of the EIC of the National Inquirer that he killed stories after being paid by Cohen; the testimony from the porn star trump had to pay in order to get laid, where she admits to taking that same figure from the Inquirer; numerous counts of conversations between the parties discussing these payments; and numerous financial statements outlying these payments; then you'd vote guilty.

So there you go again old man. For the 7th time now, I've explained how you were wrong. Furthermore, and we've been over this before, you keep trying to tell us that all of trumps cases should be dismissed because you can't identify the underlying crime. Whatever right wing dipshit keeps saying this is lying to you.

Yeah, everyone in Trump’s orbit has turned out to be a piece of shit. Scumbags surround themselves with other scumbags. I’m sure prosecutors have to deal with these kinds of witnesses all the time.

Cannon will hear this, stipulating that she will grant Smith's request if and only when all charges against Trump are dropped in all cases and he's made America's King 4Lyfe...otherwise, she'll hear it in 4 months then issue her decision on it prior to 2030...

Not verbatim language, but close.
