Born 10 years ago. Yes. He's had outstanding wrestling and BJJ for a very long time.ADCC Cerrone is born.
Cowboy just admitted on hes ESPN interview that hes not going to take conor down, he wants to stand and fight to see how great conors stand up is and if he can take he's punch. So pretty much admitting to not even trying to win.
Khabib doesn't even look for submissions early. Cowboy is much more agressive and opportunistic as far submissions. Cowboys probably gonna get lit up though. Conor won't give up the bussy easily, you have to show him who's boss.Let’s just all remember that Conor lasted a few rounds on his back against a angry as hell khabib. I’m not saying he’s a bjj god off his back or anything, but I think he has the ability to survive on the ground for a few minutes here or there with cowboy.
Indeed he did. Gotta rest when you just spent an entire round mauling someone.Let me guess Khabib took the 3rd round off as well
By "few minutes" do you mean like 2 minutes? If cowboy takes him down he will gnp for openings and submit him pretty fuckin fast...and Conor doesn't even attempt to fight submissions as we've seen. He will break faster than Pettis' bones.Let’s just all remember that Conor lasted a few rounds on his back against a angry as hell khabib. Cowboy is definitely that stupid to think he has to prove he can stand and bang with conor so i think hes being real.Or luring Conor into a false sense of security
Difference is Khabib was doing GNP, whereas Cowboy will be looking for that submission from the get-go.Let’s just all remember that Conor lasted a few rounds on his back against a angry as hell khabib. Yea can't take anything you say serious after that admission thanks anywayIndeed he did. Gotta rest when you just spent an entire round mauling someone.

Woah woah there, so defensive.
Edit: Khabib submitted him when he decided to.
He's an all around very skilled fighter. I would go as far as to say he is among the most well rounded fighters from a technique standpoint. He chokes though and he maybe isn't the most durable fighter. After re-watching some of Cerrone's fights, his wrestling is better than I gave him credit for.
He locks his hands around the hips and then gets to the back, takes guys down from there.
Exactly!cerrone isn't nearly at the same level as khabib is...as far as wrestling goes.
Go watch any Donald Cerrone fight. There’s a big chance you’ll see Cerrone get a takedown. He’s got great timing and catches almost everyone off guard.
He’s taken down:
Tony Ferguson
Alexander Hernandez
Leon Edwards
Darren Till
Robbie Lawler
Rick Story
Patrick Cote
Alex Oliveira
Ben Henderson
Myles Jury
Adriano Martins
Evan Dunham
Rafael dos Anjos
KJ Noons
Jeremy Stephens
Paul Kelly
Etc..
Just an interesting fact.
Conor wanted out. He wasn't trying to last on the ground, he was trying to get submitted so the punching stopped. (And I believe tons of fighters do this, let themselves be caught, when they know they're done for, it isn't just a "that one time with Conor"-thing).
oh please....he had trouble even getting conor down at first...let's not pretend if khabib could have submitted conor in the 1st round, he wouldn't have....of course he would.
