Dominic Reyes is going to beat Jon Jones

That’s funny because I don’t see IT coming from this guy at all.
I’d like to think Dom gets it done, but this is Jon Jones man. He’d have to pull some bullshit Silva negligence to give this one away
If he struggled with Ozedimir he’s not gonna beat Jones.

Fedor was a can crusher, he lost to Werdum because Werdum is an elite fighter.

Jon Jones is not going to lose to a can, Reyes. If he ever loses it is going to be against a heavyweight KO artist, or against age.
Fedor is widely considered the goat over Jones, so lol can crusher, that's the casual ufc only mma noob's take

We will see though, Imma at you if reyes, who you call a can, beats up your boy. I won't let you live it down now bro lol

you're aware that Nogeira beat werdum in pride, right? yet fedor destroyed Nogeira....only reason werdum caught fedor, was cause fedor was way past his prime...

Maybe. The king will fall someday. Dude already went to a split with this guy:

so it's only a matter of time.

I saw that split decision vs Santos as more of Jones having an absolute dog shit game plan and performance than him actually nearly losing to a better fighter.

@NorrisB
good thread. I'm thinking of go all in on Reyes. Feeling 110% confident we will see the upset.

I think Reyes has a shot if we see Jones fight aggressively with a purpose to quell doubters, Reyes thrives in the scrum or chaos of exchanging and somehow finds chins at the end of his punches. If we see strategy oriented Jones it will be a boring 5 round UD win for Bones

Even if somehow it does happen you should not get any kind of credit, this is just a random prediction

@bigconan
1.Styles make fights. Fedor had a low IQ to take down a BJJ specialist. And Werdum's prime was when he was in the UFC. MMA math does not work. For example, Werdum > Cain > Nog
2. Nog lost all his big fights in the UFC(Mir, Cain, Roy Nelson, and Stefan Struve).
3. Fedor was not past his prime, here he was 34 years old against Hendo, a middleweight.

Ah man, I don't know, I can't see it. Stranger things have happened in MMA. but I just can't see Jones losing to someone who got a gift decision against No Time.

Jones is slipping a bit, but he is still DAMN good. Even if he is past his prime physically - the man is still the most experienced light heavyweight in the division, with the highest fight IQ, and the most experience under the bright lights.

He's going to lose sometime in the next three years, but I don't know if I would trust Reyes to be that guy.

Yeah Cro Cop, Hunt, Coleman, Randleman, Arlovski, Sylvia were all cans.
