Kicking a ball and switching a golf club is a lot different than throwing a punch. Somebody with that massive of a size advantage hitting the "trained" person in the face = technique and skill going out the window.

Think a little bit. Cruz is pretty fast, evasive with amazing footwork. Do you really think that being big and athletic with no fighting ability is enough to beat any well trained martial artist with amazing footwork?. Take a boxing class. Reach means sh!t when you are not trained properly to use it.

When you're 8 inches taller and 50-60lbs. heavier it's definitely possible that strength and size > skill and technique.

sorry, that's not enough if you have 0 fight training vs. a high lev mma guy. plenty of vids on the internet proving this, bballer would have about 0 chance. now one of those guys that's like 7' 300+ lbs could win on sheer size alone probably (not against a fighter 205+ tho)

Unlike other sports where skills are required, fighting is a natural ability n better athlete will always have an advantage.

Rose might not be technically sound, but whatever he lacks in technique, he made a up for it in athleticism big time.

In a fight vs Cruz he would just use his superior size n athleticism
