I am a huge believer in government waste. Both sides are equally bad.

I would cut mostly everything, all departments. I would cut government staff also. Some major cuts would come from redoing the tax code and cutting out the IRS and also cutting the military in half. That would be plenty large enough to defend America but not large enough to be involved in global conflicts around the world.

Also a closed border and let Americans keep more of their money rather than giving it to illegal immigrants.

A family budget and government budget (or even a major corporation) are very different.

So again, you think you can cut trillions off the annual budget right? So tell me, what budget cuts would you make that save a trillion out of the FY25 budget? Be specific.

They want the Department of Education gone for two reasons: 1) Money. It's part of the larger effort to privatize education, guaranteeing vast sums of tax payer dollars to a handful of private companies (but without tax payer control). 2) Public education represents a purely partisan focal point. That is, "Public Schools" are an extension of Big Liberal Government telling us (reactionaries/conservatives) what to do, when in reality it should be US telling THEM what to do.
That's it. It's actually that simple.

It's funny that you say my post has no substance when it's clear how I am pointing out that DOGE has no substance. All they are doing is tweeting out other people's analysis of data that is already being gathered by government sources. Dummies like you get wet panties because Musk is involved, but in reality these tweets are meaningless.

No, sorry, I'm sure it was me. I didn't read the your post clearly enough and I often jump to being an ass online when I think I'm right. I've started to recognize that about myself and try to avoid it when I catch it. Thankfully that trait doesn't carry over to real life lol.

1. Its quite obvious everyone knows the difference. They're not saying the entirety of the federal budget is going to be cut to nearly nothing.
2. The solution to spending will be two-fold, cut all the bullshit out of the budget and the economy will improve so we can, at the very least, have a balanced budget.
