Elections DOGE is formed

where's elon's WEF/Open Society Foundation? where are his handpicked globalist puppets in every western power? how many soft-on-crime DAs did he bankroll?

He's bankrolling the Twitter userbase to start with.

His model involves collecting fees from idiots who just want a blue checkmark, then giving a share to the 'news' providers with the most followers.

It's an arms race to see who could gush out the most garbage, and it's working because the right loves nonsense information in their current rebellion against academia/MSM/sense.

He's also been throwing out casual millions to random voters. If you think he's done, think again.

Hmmm.... Whats that "Platinum Member" badge on your account?

Anyone that has ever worked in a municipality or government agency knows the massive amount of wasteful spending, useless jobs, and total ineptness. A department to minimize these things is a step in the right direction. Locally we had a municipality order 2 million worth of dump trucks for road work. There were 2.5 million worth of unused trucks in a department 9 miles away. Anyone that is saying this is "retarded" needs to look in a fucking mirror.

So the pressure will be on this 'department' to make perennial cuts to your infrastructure, or at a certain point does it hit a limit and get shelved as pointlessly expensive too?

My support to Sherdog.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't get distributed to the owners favourite pet accounts, does it?
I'm pretty twitter isn't some cash cow. I haven't researched it lately but last I heard they were barely breaking even.

I remember when people on here used to complain about deep state billionaires shaping policy from the shadows and now we're doing that openly and nobody seems to give a shit.

Fucking hilarious tbh.
except there isnt anything deep state about Elon's move, he's upfront, he's transparent, people voted being fully aware that this was going on. Harris has dozens of billionaires propping her up, the soros family, the waltons (walmart), gates, and cuban was an official surrogate like elon. Nobody was making a case against Cuban being a surrogate.

It will be all sizzle and no meat, probably, yes.

Mr Beast got 25,000 when Musk was handing out seemingly random amounts to drum up interest, but it's probably a few dollars to cover expenses for most try hard accounts.

And it will keep them trying hard for the foreseeable.

This is incredible

Not the same though is it.

Like, at all.

And you can see that, you know nobody here gets paid to post, but... you don't care because you're a good team player lol
Youtube pays by ad revenue too are you fuming about that?
What about facebook?

If being 'paid to post' is your problem we have an entire legacy media abomination that needs killing before anything else

That's kind of what I said dude.

But paying for content isn't exactly a new concept. Youtube, spotify, rumble, substack all do it.

Increasingly so with YouTube, yes.

Their algorithm is completely fucked. The algorithm was the reason I stopped using Twitter, too.

I started getting a bunch of shit pushed at me on Youtube about how "so and so gets DESTROYED" and all the headlines were the same, so chances are I'll swear off that too.

Definitely a major issue and conflict of interest IMO when the paying party also controls the algorithms. Not a fan.

Don't use Facebook but had no idea they paid people!

Spotify absolutely should be paying rights for using people's songs. Music isn't made for Spotify in the same way as people create content specifically for a social media platform.

this is how internet content works on any site and isn't a scathing commentary on musk more than any other major content owner/provider man I don't really know what to tell you

Let's see how they cut the waste. A lot of government waste is in corruption and backhanders, if they're seriously going to tackle that then good for them, but if they're going to privatise a lot of shit and sell it to the highest bidder then that's not so good.
Elon is kind of the KING when it comes to efficiency and the reason space X rose to prominence.

Self landing rockets is to save on costs, and he's revolutionized what can be done.

The idea that cars should be made to be automated WITHOUT a steering wheel and brake levers to save on cost, was an extreme vision - tesla robotaxi

the infamous twitter restructure, 70-80% of staffing cut, runs fine, even had a bunch of upgrades. He got a ton of flack followed by the entire industry doing the same....

clearly, the man can envision better than most, and by a good margin, and his first principles way of thinking is what makes him successful.
