NASA gives SpaceX contracts because they fulfill their goals at a lower price than their competitors.

I'd be all in on the bit/doge/digicoins if not for the lack of regulation, the fact that they take your ID and info for whatever, and because it can be hacked and you lose everything with no insurance policy.

Democrats are going to hate this. They think we work for the government, when in actuality the government works for us. They love being told what to do though, without question.
You're implying that Elon doesn't care about money as his top priority. Yet if money isn't his highest priority, why was being the richest person in the world not enough? Instead he had to had an egregious compensation package with it. What other priority was driving his pursuit of a rigged comp package?
