Obviously it was the skills and grit. Sometimes my humor doesn't translate, that's on me lol
You need to start using the new Sherdog "Just Kidding" font. Its a 3 way combo of Bold, Italics and Times New Roman. I think it will catch on but like the Unified Rules its not adopted in all jurisdictions.

There becomes a point hes where size will overcome skill.

Depends. If the person isnt athletic, strong, aggressive, coordinate not really. Or are we talking about pro fighters?

Would a peak Brian Shaw beat Mighty Mouse in a fight to the death? Probably. Would he beat most elite MWs? Fuck no.

Yeah thats kind of what im getting at. Of course there's exceptions. And the more rules the more it might favor the trained guy. But size at some point will Trump all that.

Yes.

BJJ and overall MMA skills are great but sometimes you can't overcome size.

I still think HW weight limit is dumb, let them 400 pound monsters in.

Ask bj Penn..

If you have 2 experienced bjj black belts similar skill ones 100 pounds the other 220 level who do you think is gonna win...

If you have a bjj black belt vs a 260 pound average joe that is different ... That is why there are weight classes..

People can be equal in knowledge and skill the size becomes the deciding factor.
