Normally you would think being attractive makes you more marketable, but in this kid's case. It seems like his looks aren't hurting his popularity any. If anything maybe people see his face and the way he talks and they find him more relatable. Not necessarily relatable to chads on sherdog of course, but maybe to normal folks

It makes him more relatable as a regular guy, I think, making us fans feel more OK about our own uglinesses, whatever they are.

I'm noticing a weird trend in usa where the masses actually tend to get jealous of attractive people and thus its harder for them to succeed.

To be a comedian you almost certainly have to be overweight or strange looking. I guess it helps people relax or feel better about themselves?
