I haven't seen anything about this among all the Clowner McTapper drama but does Nate still get his contracted paycheck for UFC 200? He signed to fight Conor, presumably for a pretty nice chunk of change. Anyone know if he'll still get that or if the UFC has the right to renegotiate based on the change in opponent? I hope he gets paid.

Henderson doesn't get paid for the Machida fight.

In short, I doubt it.

Nate will lose a lot of PPV money that for sure...

Hope he get Lawler for the main event.
If not poor Nate...

A very goid question...if it is in the conteact...nate should get paid byt i doubt he will

It's prizefighting... why would you be paid in advance of the fight?

He may receive a stipend of some sort for "preparation/training expenses," but he certainly isn't getting his big payday upfront.

Yup. He's got a contract but obviously it was for Conor so I have no idea if it's null and void or what. Dana said they'd work to find a new opponent for Nate but I have no clue if they'd still owe him the contracted amount or if it would be totally different. He deserves it, in my opinion.

Do you really think the UFC doesn't write up contracts in a language that prevents them from having to pay guys if their opponent pulls out for whatever reason? come on man.

Nate will get paid if he fights. He won't make 1/100 as much to fight anyone else as he did/would have again to fight Conor, but nothing he can do about that.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that they hadn't even executed the contract yet. If there's no contract then they're shit out of luck.

No way he gets paid. nope. he will only get paid if he fights a new opponent and shows up

Watch the UFC offer him less money for his replacement fight and Nate drop out of 200.

He should at least get a complimentary six-pack of some fine Irish brew.

In a way...yes.

He owns Conor's soul.
