Does Mighty Mouse really think Joshua would smoke Ngannou in MMA rules with 6 months of TDD?

"that Ngannou can't survive striking with Ngannou."

Huh

MM clearly has an external motivation for saying that; he knows that isn't true. Francis has really advanced his wrestling, and it would take Joshua years of training to avoid being taken down and beat up. Francis would continue to train also, so there is no certainty that Joshua could close the gap by training.

I'm not going to weigh in on the hypothetical winner, but I am absolutely certain that Anthony Joshua in 4 oz gloves is easily hitting hard enough to KO any UFC HW.

Nobody is questioning that. The question is what UFC HW would be dumb enough to try to outbox a former boxing HW champion wearing 4oz gloves?

Even Couture who had some amateur boxing experience shot a takedown within 10 seconds on a bloated past his prime James Tony.

if AJ did nothing but train wrestling for 5 years, maybe
but even then, ngannou could just leg kick him to oblivion standing

Ngannou isnt a wrestler, and didnt took long for Joshua to put him to SLEEP, 6 months might be too soon, but he doesnt need to keep it standing for 25 minutes...

He's become one of the worst clickbait merchants on youtube and it's really fucking annoying.

He was perpetuating an insanely brain rot take the other week saying that Moicano is somehow a more dangerous fight for Islam than Arman. There's no analysis, he just says insanely dumb shit to get attention.

no mighty mouse just says shit to get engagement for his youtube channel, it's a lame tactic but a lot of people do it. He also said moicano is a tougher fight for islam than arman, he doesn't really believe it he just tries to get a headline
Damn did he really say that shit? Well whatever I guess let him go get his money.

Heavyweight is the division where this is doable.

Everyone somehow leaves out this large nuance. A ton of top heavyweight boxers and olympic heavyweight wrestlers could walk into the octagon and beat anyone any given day. This is only due to strength discrepancy and power discrepancy being so high at heavyweight.

Ngannou in clinch was tossing fury like a ragdoll and barely budging joshua. It's like 185 lbs mma guys could beat fury in mma, but joshua could KO ngannou, aspinall, pavlovich, etc.

I would give joshua, dubois, wilder and frankly any top 20 heavyweight that is quick and has obvious 1 punch KO power in boxing to be at worst 20% odds against any UFC fighter(in MMA).

I would also give someone like Mayweather or Canelo a >1% chance of beating any UFC fighter that is even decent at 135 or above.

At some point the ability to end fight with one punch and take strikes that would otherwise KO majority of UFC plays a big factor.

These topics are always great because the MMA fans insecurities always shine and suddenly every MMA fighter ever is a D1 wrestler and BJJ BB even if they fight nothing remotely like that. Being theoretically capable of doing something =/= actually going to do that in a fight. Fighters have styles and they overwhelmingly adhere to them no matter who's in front of them. You guys supposedly watch MMA all the time and then are somehow shocked when Fighter A... fights like Fighter A always does.

We've had two major crossovers really: Randy/Toney and Mercer/Sylvia. Randy is a grappler and completely unsurprisingly grappled Toney. Sylvia is a striker and also completely unsurprisingly struck with Mercer. AKA they fought as expected and lo and behold the results were also as expected with such fights in those realms.

This whole Joshua/Ngannou hypothetical is fucking stupid considering Joshua already sent Ngannou to the shadow realm standing and so of course NOW Ngannou isn't going to be stupid enough to try and strike with him like he already tried. It's a completely pointless exercise. THIS Ngannou is going to be training his wrestling and kicking for dear life and would show up like the D1 wrestler you all think every MMA fighter is. PRIOR to that if you were somehow shocked that yes Ngannou would try to strike with Joshua like he's struck with every single dangerous MMA striker he's ever faced I don't know what to tell you as you clearly don't actually watch MMA.

Randy Couture who grapples everybody he faces because he's a grappler shot a TD?

Wow, you're telling me this for the first time.

Francis only advanced his wrestling precisely because AJ showed him there's levels to striking and no he wasn't the best striker in the world like he'd previously thought.
