The show should be called Laura Sanko's Contender Series TBH.

She almost always does both commentary and interviews, and a couple of years ago one week the ring announcer got sick and she did that too. And she did a pretty good job at all of them.

She will always have her haters for obvious reasons, but she is a consummate pro who is greatly respected by her peers.

I don't think you really can talk to much when it's your literal job to talk on the broadcast.

That being said I don't really vibe with her voice on commentary, but her commentary is fine in and of itself, I guess.

She's amazing on podcasts though. Everytime she is a guest on Bisping's podcast or Submission Radio etc it's a great listen. She has great chemistry with Bisping in particular that doesn't really come across when they're doing commentary.

I generally agree, but a commentator can actually talk to(o) much. Though I don't think she generally does. She could for example talk over her co-commentators, or just never allow any moment of silence, or never stop talking about a frivolous subject.

It may be due to the fact (correct my of wrong) that she’s the first female commentator (or just first regular?) in UFC history.

Again, I’m guessing here; but she may be overcompensating and trying to prove her knowledge/understanding due to being first.

There’s a big difference between understanding the “techniques” of broadcasting, and understanding MMA strategy.

I’m pretty certain the first UFC commentator ever was a woman.
It’s a chick and Bill Superfoot Wallace I forget her name though

They all talk too much, I think she'll get more efficient with her speaking as she goes. There are lots of times you can tell she has a thought, can't quite wrangle it, and doesn't have the experience to just complete her sentence and move on. I find almost every commentator annoying, they are only tolerable in the right combinations. DC mixed with Rogan or Bisping is a nightmare.
