his two best wins were just not that convincing, at least relative to the hype he’s received. On the ground he's super dominant. On the feet,he needs discipline, and more experience would help him w that.
He deserves to be looked at,even if he doesnt go through people at the higher levels, him being able to win, with the small amount of experience he has is great. If he you didnt pay attention to hype,it would be very impressive.his two best wins were just not that convincing, at least relative to the hype he’s received.

I thought i read on here that ddp was saying his legs were too fucked up to make 300 in time. Coulda just been a fever dream. Why would they do an interim title at MW? The belt was just won and the new champion isn't injured or otherwise unavailable.

It won't take a Romero, a guy like Jerad would work just fine. LolI sure wish we had a solid ttd powerful striker around 185 like prime Romero or hendo to chin his ass and send him on his way
looked at how? we are looking at him. i don’t think it’s too much to ask that he beats one top 5 guy.He deserves to be looked at,even if he doesnt go through people at the higher levels, him being able to win, with the small amount of experience he has is great. You should look at what he is doing in the octagon objectively instead of trying to line it up with whatever "hype" there is.
For his skills to match the hype he would've had to thrown Usman out of the octagon and popped DDPs head like a balloon with a RNC.

that’s just it—“objectively” theyre not the sorts of performances that really stand on their own as justifications for a title shot. and when you factor in the fact that hype is one of the main reasons khamzat had these opportunities in the first place, they’re actually kind of disappointing.
not me. i’d like to see him fight through the rankings. It's very hard for me to envision a world where round 1 Khamzat doesn't put any MW on the planet in trouble. That's worth it. Sometimes we don't need to watch a guy fight through the rankings. You see the skill someone possess and wants to see it against the best.
well maybe, if everyone else is booked or injured. like i said, he’d be good as a short notice replacement contender. but otherwise he needs that top 5 win.Now if there were a multitude of very deserving and INTERESTING middleweight contenders, then sure, but that's really no the landscape we're in right now
