If you're not hyped for this fight then the UFC should just fold without Mcgregor. The UFC has been stale since Mcgregor hasn't fought tbh. The last card i was amped for was in November & the April card got dismantled quickly. We need some big events in 2018.

Yes, it is but there are people ITT who don't believe this is a superfight or aren't excited. If the hardcores arent' showing support for cards like this one then the UFC is in trouble.
 
Given how Fight Week cards have fallen apart in the weeks leading up to the event in the past, I'll get excited when they are in the cage.
 
They don’t hype anything anymore. I’ve yet to see one commercial for it
 
With what the UFC offers these days, this is a super mega dream fight!

Feels pretty normal honestly. Don’t get me wrong I am excited. But where is the hype? Where is the promotion? It’s like the UFC is not banking on this to do particularly well so they are not bothering to do anything special. There was a time they used to do entire UFC primetime shows dedicated to these so-called super fights. Seems like a long time ago.
 
I don't think cross-division matchups are automatically super fights. I tend to think of super fights as some of the biggest entities the sport has to offer. Often cross-divisional, but not exclusively. This doesn't feel like the kind of fight that I can't watch to find out what happens.

Most HW title defenses
Six top 5 wins in a row of which four are first round knock outs, and two that were complete domination where he's probly displayed the most well rounded skill set at HW we've seen. Stipe has been nearly flawless aside a L to JDS in a very close fight in his last 10 fights.

Am I supposed to be impressed with Stipe beating dudes over the hill?
 
I haven't been this least excited about a fight as big as this since ever.. But I'm still looking forward to the bout..

Well yeah man. And aside for Andrei and Hunt, he beat the rest at their best. Werdum was champ and coming of the best run of his career, Overeem was on a four fight win streak with a knock out of JDS, JDS himself was in top shape, and Nganou was killing everyone and at this peak right now. He's put together the best run at HW aside JDS 08 to 12 and Fedor.

There is no such thing as a fighter beating all fighters ranked top 5 at their peak with long winning streaks, it doesnt exist. They will encounter prime, out of prime, top ranked, lower ranked, coming of big wins, loss...etc.

No he didn't. Werdum's best and Overeems best were in Strikeforce. Ngannou killed Overeem and Arlovski. That's it.

Early in Fedor's career not so much, PRIDE just didn't put it their best vs each other all the time. Fedor's resume is pretty good.
