He is not same effective outside of it.

Honestly though Arona was a pretty unique fighter in that he was at peak from pretty much right from debut, barely anything changed in his game.

Fedor by comparison was still fighting more like a Judoka as if there was going to be a reset after a few seconds rather than extended grappling plus his standup improved very significantly in the following 2-3 years.

Honestly though I think in some respects Khabib is in exactly the right time and the right place, he's in an era were barely anyone can fight from their backs and where almost everyone depends on giving up their back to escape from the ground.
