Does hearing foreign languages affect your accent?

When I meet an indian person, all of a sudden I start talking like this guy:

P.s. is it instinct? Is it paranoia? Is it culture appropriation?

No, english is not my first language and i do consume a lot of content in english, still i sound like anderson silva when i speak it, however when i pass sometime speaking english with a native speaker my accent gets less strong
Same here.

I speak english pretty much like an american (which IDK if it's good lol) and have a funny accent when I speak in french.

But my spanish accent has been always the same. Pretty terrible.

no. kindof. im not sure.. but when i hear foreign languages being spoken around me in australia i get fucking angry and vocally rage at them.

My step father is a english speaking quebecer living in Tennessee for the last 20 years. By his accent you'd think he was born and raised in the south.

No but my dad uses an Indian accent when he talks to Indian people. I think he thinks it helps them understand him or something.

Your dad sounds like a fun guy.
;)
