As much as I respect Volk and his title reign and record, because this fight went the way it did I don’t think a rematch is necessary. What I would like to see is topuria fight someone else next and Volk takes next 8 months off and then takes a fight toward the end of year. Get some recovery from the last 2 ko’s.

zzzzzz no, that guy can't finish a sandwich. The only reason he's even being considered is because Volk has beaten most of the top ranked fighters.

Evloev will not be able to keep hold of Ilia for all 5 rounds. From what little I have seen, Ilia has a pretty good grappling and ground game. And as we just saw, he is probably the best 145er on the feet.

Also anyone arguing that Evloev shouldn't get a TS because "he is boring" shouldn't expect any sympathy when they turn around and lament how the UFC no longer cares about sporting integrity because their favorite fighter was passed up or a fighter they hate gets special treatment.
