Also is a bird weaker than a fish? Seeing gender in terms of "strength" is an pointless and strange concept. Men are stronger and more physically endowed, women carry children and care for the family. The two are mutually exclusive. It is not a debate, it is fact. You may as well argue, which is better, food or water?

So I am 100% on board with people and cultures eating dog and I think it is wrong to favor 1 species of animal for mass torture, slaughter and factory farming consumption but not favor another. Pigs, Goats, Cows and Chickens are all mammals and dont want to die yet do in mass.

Im not a PC person but it is just straight up cultural insensitivity and racism to look down upon those cultures namely in the east who eat dogs or even bats.

Dogs are useful companions and were extremely useful to western pioneers, historically very recently. Fast, agile, smart and loyal with a borrowed godlike sense of smell. So both pragmatically and culturally it makes sense. Very well rounded and diverse skill and ability sets.

Only the horse comes close and you wont find many Canadians eating those either, also primarily due to historic reasons imo. Youre never gonna find a Mongolian that eats horse either.

I feel bad for the plight of the pig but they taste good and arent very useful unless you want truffles. Theyre certainly not tracking or cornering game.

Chickens are best used as egg producers, but theyre probably my favourite meat. Really smart fuckers too and Id even say endearing. Cows are cool but theyre just asking to be milked and slaughtered.

Eating dog? Fuck right off.

Most dogs will help you out and guard you
