What I thought I was eating was beef steak lol. I was just so drunk and hungry that ate it without thinking. My friends told I was eating dog, but i thought they were just joking around.

The next day my friend txt me asking how the dog taste. It was then I realized I ate dog. I felt guilty and disgusted, plus a mean hangover, I was just throwing up through out the day.

I'm a dog lover and owner, so yeah....fuck eating dogs. I'm not doing that ever again.

I get why people are adverse to it but i grew up hunting. If it's on the game list, i'll eat it once. I'm not sure of the legalities of dog meat in Canada but wolf tasted like shit so unless im starving in the wood i cant be bothered with dog. I've ate a lot of different types of animal (game, domestic, imported), and other countries eat what they can. In SA they eat tarantula. I wouldn't but all the power to em. In other areas they eat whale, or elephant. I wouldn't eat an elephant because they are too smart, but for those

I get it too Dogs are seen as pets, farm helpers and not as food. But putting certain cultures downs as morally wrong for eating dog is going too far.

So I am 100% on board with people and cultures eating dog and I think it is wrong to favor 1 species of animal for mass torture, slaughter and factory farming consumption but not favor another. Pigs, Goats, Cows and Chickens are all mammals and dont want to die yet do in mass.
