Does dog meat actually taste good?

Also by the way my neighbors dog get me so pissed with it's loud barking that sometimes I would love to eat both of them.

describe the taste. have you had it more than once? Curious about people who have eaten it regularly or several times. I have had horse only 2x so I can say I know for certain all horse. The first time it was overcooked steak the 2nd time it was good but didnt quite taste like a cow steak seemed yes lean and less flavorful.

why is it gross but skinned pigs and organs are not?

You could be fed dog and be told its a different seasoned pork and not even know.
I don't eat dog nor pork to each their own tho

Our oldest friends, animal tools, companions and the only other species that understand our body language and facial expressions. As creepy as eating chimps or other great apes as far as I'm concerned.

Is this one of those vegan threads where you get everyone to say they wouldn't eat dog and then try to spin it that that means they shouldn't eat any animal.

Because fuck anyone who'd eat a dog.

Never eaten dog and dont think i ever will..

But i have ate a tin of dog food, it wasnt bad.

It's terrible cooked Korean style. You know how a dirty wet dog smells? That's what it tastes like.

My friend had it barbecued in Vietnam and said it was fucking delicious.

If eating dogs is nasty, what about this girl? She eats unborn humans!!

People always say to salute the flag or support the troops but no. No, I say, no! I salute Brandi Love and thank her for every cock she's gobbled, fat dick she rode, juicy load she swallowed and for every bounce of her tits. She's a real American hero. She fights against loneliness and the terrorist group of CantGetLaiditis. I wish I could be the meat in a titty sandwich with Brandi Love and Gianna Michaels. I could die right after and I wouldn't have one regret, not one!

This.

For all that the domestic dog has done for us to throughout our growth as a species, it's very disrespectful to abuse or eat them, IMO.

My neighbor have one of those noise spoiled little dogs that do a crazy attack at anything that gets in his perceived inerspace,no matter how large that may be,and the dann woman does nothing about except hold the leash.

i kill and roast that dammed thing without think twice.
I may even eat the bastard.
Why not?

TS is a moron. Different animals contain different unhealthy pathogens. There is also different nourishment levels which is why we eat some animals and not others. Dogs are a domesticated animal, as are cats. People that eat them are savages. The cases of Trichinosis, rabies, listeria and typhus in countries that do eat dog is off the charts.

No its crap, tried it once.
I used to really love trying weird exotic meat but this covid19 shit means I probably won't bother anymore, even avoiding the ones I've already tried. And I am far from a bleeding-heart animals rights type either, I consider myself an animal lover but if something was on the menu I would try it.

I find that sauteed cat is a lot better.

After chopping the head off, skinning it and disposing of the guts slow roast it for about 6 hours.

Fantastic with a touch of lemon.

Didn't come across it in Korea last year thankfully, unless the BBQ place spun me a line.

I have a rule, anything I've had as a pet or ridden I won't go near. So cat, dog and horse are off...shame about horse though, my husband used to eat it when we lived in Amsterdam and it looked lovely and lean.

Horse tastes great but is too lean
I've eaten bear. It's like a really dark - iron-tasting stewed steak. Very filling, but certainly it tastes pretty strong.

I wouldn't eat but I've grown in the west, you can't expect people to develop independent repulsion for shit so widespread, accepted and normal, that's not how shit works. Calling them savages for that is absurd.

I mean you Americans sentence your own people to death, carry all the fucking guns in the world and don't wash your asshole when you shit. How do you think it appears to foreign people? Exactly.

I've never had bear. Would love to try it.

I was in Peru and had Alpaca burgers and they were fucking delicious

Ive eaten whale,I guess id try dog...but, not into dog death tbh

Dogs are different than other animals. Traditionally, dogs helped push human development in a way that other domesticated animals didn't.

While other animals were domesticated so that the animal itself could be a food source, dogs essentially partnered with humans to aquire and share more food/resources/security.

I don't think it's right to tell other people how to live their lives, but I also don't think its right to be so disloyal to man's oldest and most faithful ally.
