Does Dana regret having Rhonda coach TUF?

I accept that your use of the term could simply mean something like "does not approve of Ronda."

My problem with the term "hater" is that it carries the baggage of a non-rational bias. People can disagree with each other without being non-rational or "haters."

Hater.

Possibly. There's no denying, she is incredibly annoying.

Her lack of situational awareness is stunning.

To put it simply, she comes across like an over-sensitive, petulant child.

But I don't think Dana will care, as long as the public tunes in. If people want her to lose, and tune in hoping to see her lose, that'd be good enough for Dana, I think.

I think he regrets putting Tate in there and not coaching Rhonda on how to deal with reality TV. Not saying Tate is bad just that Rhonda's jealousy of her knows no bounds.

It will depend on whether the popularity of women in UFC rises or declines after this

She is trying to be a pathetic female version of the mighty Chael Sonnen!

Difference is that Chael was a really good coach for TUF. You get 6 weeks, not 6 months. You aren't going to dramatically change someones cardio or technique. What you can do is help them with the mental side of the game, which it seemed like he was able to do. He was even keel for the show.

Ronda seems to go way up and down emotionally. The Shayna loss was weird. I don't think Dana cares one way or another regarding women's MMA. If someone KO's Ronda, he will jump on that bandwagon. If Ronda subs her next five opponents, he will ride that bandwagon. He is a promoter, and will continue to promote the UFC.

I don't think he cares, if he did, the show would be edited differently, focusing more on the new fighters and less on the coaches.
I'm a fan of Ronda's abilities, 10 wins by armbar (if you count her amateur fights) is definitely no fluke, my only beef with her so far was when she flipped off Miesha at the end of the Pennington/Duke fight, i thought that was highly unprofessional, especially after such an entertaining and hard fought showcase of women's MMA.

Nah. Rousey is more like a Nick Diaz, who just stirs shit up with middle fingers and profanity and trying to build an "I hate you" image.

Sonnen is more of a troll, smiling and knocking out one-liners while hyping himself up to absurd degrees.

Yes... Ronda is to the ufc what that average girl at work is to you.

she's the only decent girl in your office, but because you see her everyday she goes from being 6 in the real world to 8.5 ...because A) she has no competition and b)is the only decent female interaction you have through the workday...

Then one day The new hottie intern miesha walks in the door, and suddenly you snap back to reality and say to yourself "what the hell was I thinking to rate ol crazy ronda in accounting so highly?"

That's what's happened to Ronda in this season of tuf ...

Dana doesn't have control of the editing, if he did you wouldn't see him begging Rousey to stop her shit and then coming back and cleaning up a prank, thats embarrassing to someone like Dana.

Ratings, advertisers, media coverage, PPV buys, these are what Dana cares about the most. All of these things generally go up when Rhonda is involved. If her and Meisha's rematch helps him make millions of dollars, do you really think he's going to lose sleep if Rhonda's feelings get hurt because people say not so nice things about her on the Internet?

This is stupid. Some ppl obviously didnt follow Rousey's career before she was in the UFC. She's always been big-mouthed, rude and cocky.

Her strikeforce fights actually had hype because shes a talker and natural heel

She isnt girly, humble, meek, or mild and thats wat makes her a breath of fresh air in the women's div. she defies wat we expect a woman athlete to be like and it makes her a star. The 100% win and finish rates are just a bonus

Of course, a million plus (repeats & DVR) are seeing her personality each week & commenting on it.
She had one UFC fight so far & heading in was the golden girl.
Not everyone needs to know RR as early as others do to comment
That said, I think some are going overboard with "hate" but that happens

For fucks sake, the women don't need to act a certain way or change who they are. I find Ronda to be hilarious. I don't care if she acts childish, I mean she chose to to punch faces and destroy arms for a living.

This is fighting. Who cares?

Nobody said that she should change, just commenting on what they are seeing.
Obviously Dana disagrees with you since he is getting more involved then he ever was before.
More people seen her on TUF than in her fights, so after an episode airs people will comment
