Does Dana regret having Rhonda coach TUF?

He might be saying in interviews how he doesnt care and stuff but IMO its obvious quite a bit of momentum has been taken out of her climb into "stardom" as predicted by Dana. I remember him saying how huge she is going to be and how fans will flock. But I think such a thing as TUF and word of mouth can make a big dent in that plan. And if she loses to Tate who came out a sweetheart and a hottie due to TUF ... That would just knock Ronda down and whats worse is that she doesnt take such things well. Might pull a "Diaz" move.
But all in all, still, as long as she keeps winning and is in controled public appearances with a little coaching in the PR department, Dana might get his wish.

From a marketing standpoint, Miesha winning would be the best thing for Dana. A hot, respectful lady that beats a dominant champ, when no one bet on her. Everyone loves an underdog story. Everyone likes tits and ass. And everyone likes a rubber match.

biiiig time, about 50% of people hated her before the show. Now it's around 95%

I will never buy a ppv with her as the main event unless you give me like 2 main effent worthy fights as compensation.

I am sorry, but no matter what, Ronda deserves everything she has gotten. You can't say the same for Tate. Tate shouldn't even be here. She was eating strawberries against Cat.

Meisha can be as nice as she wants to be, but it doesn't change the fact that she got this opportunity handed to her. That is why I am always on Ronda's side.

Ronda is an Olympic athlete, won a medal for her country. She is the UFC champion, the best female fighter in the world. She is childish and melodramatic for sure, but I respect skill and dedication far more than I disrespect a bad personality.

I respect, Aldo, Tyson, Ali, Steve Jobs, Kobe Bryant, Fedor, Mayweather. Some have great personality, some don't. But I always want to see those people win or at least I wish them success.

You must have forgotten how Ronda got the title shot against Miesha in the first place...

Ratings don't lie, and we can factor in the show being on Fox Sports 1 instead of Spike or that it's on a Wednesday night or that TUF has run it's course (always the excuse when a seasons sucks in ratings), but I truly believe people didn't want to listen to the bullshit that was predicted to soak this season. So far this show has been a failed attempt at trying to be a mixture of The Real World and The Contender, in terms of the co-ed aspect. You have a couple tools like that Guiterrez idiot being completely unprofessional toward the females, just flat out disrespectful like he's in high school again. Then you have the editing focusing on stupid shit like makeovers.....

I'm almost wishing they'd bring back the challenges like in seasons 1 and 2 just to avoid in-house crap that died out years ago when people started eating semen sushi and doing upper-deckers.

She is trying to be a pathetic female version of the mighty Chael Sonnen!

I agree I lost a little respect for Rhonda after watching this... shes taking this "tough" act to far and acting pretty childish.. don't get me wrong shes a good fighter but I don't like her personality right now

Yes, and Dana White also regrets putting Brock Lesnar on TUF, because everyone found out that he wasn't a sweetheart, which made people less interested in watching him fight.

NOT!

No, heels sell ticket. Especially when they fight hotties

Ronda is flat in front and backside, Miesha isn't, so she's the hotty of this show and Ronda just hates that.

So what if Rousey ran her mouth to get the belt? She was on a winning streak.

Marloes Coenen lost against Cyborg at 145. Strikeforce offered her a fight at 135. She moved to 135 and beat Kaufman handily. Nobody ever mentions that she came off a loss.

Fast forward a few fights later. Miesha wins the belt from Coenen and then all Rousey says after she beat Budd was, "I'm coming after your belt Miesha."

Miesha got butt hurt from some simple words by ranting about "she is only getting the fight because she's pretty" and other lame excuses. Fighters say shit like "I'm coming after your belt" all the time yet people are targeting Rousey for doing what others have done before her and will be doing for years to come. Are you forgetting that she still won the belt from Miesha?

If anyone doesn't deserve the no. 1 contender, it's Miesha. She had a mediocre performance against Julie Kedzie and lost to Cat recently. There are still other women in UFC and Invicta who are on winning streak who would be better challengers. Her loss to Rousey is still too fresh to earn another title shot.

I hope she does too. That way when Ronda arm bars her then you haters will have to look for someone else to be your hope.

The term "haters" is an ad hominem device. In effect, it is the same as name-calling.

"Ad hominem" means "to the man."

Ad hominem arguments attack the messenger and do not address the message.

Often, people resort to ad hominem arguments (name-calling) when they are incapable of defeating an opposing argument.

You're either blind, or an idiot. Possibly both.

i don't know man, Miesha looked damn good at the pool.

Ronda's personality was never a factor for me before the show. I like her grappling. But yeah, the attitude has turned me off a bit. I wouldn't have thought she cared, but her mom's essay makes me think otherwise.

4 fights.

In a different weight class.

And by talking shit.

See my post above.

If by "talking shit" you mean replying against Miesha's lame, conceited remarks, then yes.

Otherwise you're grasping at straws. All Ronda said was that she was coming for Miesha's belt. It made no sense for her career-wise to remain in a sparse division at 145. Miesha threw her usual hissy-fit by saying that Ronda "didn't deserve it" and that she only got the shot because she was "pretty."

If Ronda was so undeserving of that fight she would've lost. She didn't.

You must have forgotten how Ronda got the title shot against Miesha in the first place...

Ronda was undefeated before getting the shot. And she dominated her opponents in impressive fashion. Did she deserved it? You can make a case for it. You can't even do that with Tate. Tate lost to Cat and was getting lit up by kadzie. The truth is, Tate rode the on the sails of Ronda's name. Tate wouldn't even be half as popular without Ronda. For that reason, I can't root for Tate. Ronda is a bitch, but she won a medal for her country and carried her entire gender in her sport. Tate is nice, but she shouldn't fighting Ronda, or talking shit with her on the show.

After episode 6 I thought Ronda was going to do a lap dance for Miesha at the bar oh how awkward it would have been but classic none the less. I think it brings that awkwardness to TV that is sorely missed nowadays. :icon_chee One good example the middle finger for a greeting after a lost fight, how awkward.

She is trying to be a pathetic female version of the mighty Chael Sonnen!

The HUGE difference is that Chael has a very high IQ and has a great command over the English language. Rhonda, not so much.
