Does cutting your hairline too far back ruin it?

I had a barber years back who pushed my hair too far back. I heard him making worried groaning sounds he entire time... it just made everything worse.

Traction alopecia. I learned about the term when I was reading about chav culture, and the Croydon facelift was mentioned.
Riff Raff has had the tightest braids possible for 15 years and his hair is always on point. He had a mullet for a year or two in the middle of it and he had the locks of a Greek God.

He hadn't gone grey either. I've been cursed by genetics!

I have zero effort hair to cut and no one has ever touched my hairline. But it seems like half the time it's just too temping for them to get creative and they don't listen to me.

Cut the sides short and trim the top should be a quick and easy few bucks for them but nope.

Naw works either way for me, im not a slav and esp. not Polish, so don't suffer from receding hairline or cancerous baldness
