Curtis has improved so much since that fight that I believe he can beat ngannou if they were to fight again. Obviously ngannou has some crazy power but this time blaydes would be smarter and try and get him to the ground early and tire him out.

The first fight was stopped by the doctor because of a closed eye so if ngannou beats lewis then I would be open to this rematch. Blaydes might get next title shot though.

yeah he would take him down imo. his takedowns have gotten quicker and he transitions from striking to shooting much more fluidly

oh hell yes. blaydes got that confidence now that he was lacking

I got Blaydes, afer thinking about it, he wrestlefucks Ngannou

It depends on if Ngannou has improved his ground game and cardio.

If he did, I'd say it's a toss up. If not, I have Blaydes winning the rematch.

does any1 have a gif of that takedown he got on reem in the 1st round? it was lesnar esque, shit was quick as hell and timed perfectly. hard to stop that when that big of a guy is coming in like that

No gas ngannou will get choked out .. Stipe gave blaydes the print of lay n pray .. now he will execute it even better

I'd pick Blaydes, but that doesn't mean much. On a side note, it's nice that the HW division has all this newer talent ascending. There are a ton of great matches to be made between Miocic, Blaydes, Ngannou, Volkov, and Lewis.

The guy looked good Saturday. Would watch a rematch... Takedown is the key...

blaydes beats francis 9 times out of 10.

Also Tai, and on a side noteI think Arloski can still work his way back to contender level as well

i have to give it to blaydes, he has dedicated himself to conditioning and has made himself into a top contender. outside of one moment in each fight, he controlled hunt and overeem. he's had explosive takedowns and knows he can't stand for long with elite strikers and he has been able to impose his will.

the fight we need to see is a rematch with ngannou. that will let us know if he's ready for the top.

No

He already put Ngannou on the ground and francis was able to get up even when curtys was in side control

Francis also improved a lot

it was a good double. he even drop levels than shot in.

Blaydes got with a real camp in the meantime too. Pretty sure he was training at some cardio kickboxing place or some shit and took the Ngannou fight on 2 or 3 weeks notice.

Didn't even have a real mma camp until after the Ngannou fight

Wtf lmao look at the dude in Blaydes corner for the Ngannou fight

The Ngannou that fought stipe? Probably.

Ngannou if he actually trained properly?
Ngannou takes it.
