Mokaev calls himself a British fighter though and says he is proud to represent the UK.
 
UK is a great market for fight promotions because the fans are a perfect mix of delusional and loud. The fighters are very mediocre for the most part.

Everyone wants a piece of that market, even Canelo goes there to beat up on some UK paper champs lol

These three people are either insane or just insanely stupid. You nonces say Usman doesn't count since he was born in Nigeria and then grew up in America. However both Rose and Aljamain were born IN America, they are Americans. Europeans and foreigners come up with these weird double standards to cope, I've seen so many EU creatures say that an American with Italian blood isn't a real italian, and yet when it "fits" your argument, now Rose is Lithuanian despite the fact she was born in Wisconsin?

Mokaev moved to England when he was 12, began training MMA in England and has opted to represent the English flag.

My bad. I misread and thought you were saying Mokaev should be in the Russian list instead of the UK one.
 
Their wrestling seems to be improving across the board. That certainly is going to help their cause.

He's an American citizen who grew up in the USA, he says he's both American and Nigerian. When someone comes to the US and becomes a citizen they are called American; it's offensive to say they aren't and he's shown he's offended by anyone who says he isn't American. That kind of thing is only said by white supremacists in America.

Usman is not the type to lose his cool but in this clip you can tell he was offended by the insinuation that he is not American because he was born in Nigeria.

I don't think they realize how offensive what they are saying is to someone like Usman who is an American citizen and even grew up in the US.
 
1. Usman reps the Nigerian flag
2. Shore, Mokaev, and Paddy are far from proven commodities (especially the latter two)
3. Georgia's up there too (Merab, Giga, Topuria)

Sterling's not African for one. He's of Jamaican descent, but was born in the USA, has lived here his entire life, and reps the American flag. He's American. Same story with Rose and Lithuania and Stipe and Croatia.
 
Russians, Americans, and Brazilians are in every major MMA organization and usually have tons of fighters in top 15. England is probably a decade behind there is no top 4 right now only top 3
 
It's certainly the best it's ever been, was a fantastic night, hope I can make it to the next event here.
