Does anyone still go to Casinos?

I went to Vegas about 10 times between 2013-19, with a trip scheduled for 2020 that obviously got cancelled. After that, my friends starting getting married and having kids so the guys weekend in Vegas were sadly over. That's basically what I hear from people that still make it out there though.

Back then, the more premium places like Bellagio and Aria had $10 tables but pretty much everywhere else was $5. You could gamble all night on just a couple hundred dollars. Now I hear if you are on the strip anywhere to expect $15 and even old Vegas is mostly $10.

Not to mention the room prices have nearly doubled.

Between flight, room and gambling, you could have a $1500 weeknd at most. Now that's hardly getting you in the door.
When I was there in 2021, $25 min bet blackjack tables seemed to be the lowest level st most places. There might have been a few $15 tables scattered. The days of sitting down with $100 at a $5 min bet table are most definitely over. Even outside of Vegas.

Yea, vegas is still fun just getting more pricey

complaining about 10 dollar tables lol. Every table in Chicago area ia minimum 15 and thats just off hours. Minimum is 25 e erywhere for peak hours .

Used to go a lot, but playing blackjack has lot its thrill for me.

I've been to a casino just twice in my life.

It's a decent experience, just go for the fun of it. But I'll never get hooked that's for sure.

No. But, my parents do. They get good deals on rooms

Maybe once or twice a year. Take a couple hundred to buy in at a cash table for Texas Holdem and play until I get bored or lose it all. I prefer playing sit and go online but still get the itch for cash games every now and then.

I never understood gambling addiction.
Atleast with drugs or alcohol, you always get a product.
With gambling you leave empty handed most of the time

The thrill of the hunt is incredibly motivating.
