I used to love it when I was younger, but now I despise it. I feel like crap every time I eat it. It's like the lowest quality meat possible, and loaded with preservatives. How is this stuff so popular?

Americanized Chinese food is pretty terrible, but whenever my Chinese buddies actually cook something up, it's pretty delicious and the ingredients are quality. Same deal when we go out and get some grub in an actual Chinese neighborhood like Flushing.

Authentic Chinese hot pot is fucking amazing! Super healthy, super tasty. I recommend it to anyone.

I know that there's a massive difference between American Chinese food, and REAL Chinese food. I guess I should have specified.

Lots of places will put MSG and too much salt in the dishes. A lot of the chinese food, assuming you're in North America, is also "westernized". They think we like it fried, so everything gets saturated in oil, deep fried, extra batter etc...

Go to "real" chinese restaurants if your city has them. The difference is night/day.

I'm also married to a chinese woman....so I'm sick of the food too.

Depending on where you do, it can be friggin awesome.

Just go to another restaurant.

Just like Mexican food or American food, Chinese food is prepared a little bit different depending on where you go

I've had Chinese food from Chinatown to Hong Kong and I do not really care for it.

Westernized Chinese food is shit, but there's some great food in China.

Never had legit Chinese food, just the shit they sell at those places named "Golden Something." Don't like it, haven't had it in years, don't ever have to have it again.

completely depends on the quality. i am not a fan of eating cats and dogs

As far as cheap food goes, I think Mexican food holds the title. For example, cheap Chinese or Italian have the tendency to really suck, whereas cheap Mexican is usually not half bad. Granted, I think Mexican food hits the quality ceiling faster, so it's a double edged sword.

You have no soul if you hate Chinese food.

i love chinese good. And i eat authentic chinese food as well, still amazing

I love it, if it's done right. I can't really fault an entire style of cooking on one bad restaurant. Each place does it differently.
