I still think there is a chance this fight will happen. Anybody agrees with me?

I believe it's a possibility, but pretty unlikely.

Dana is stubborn and it sounds like he's working on Lawler vs Nate or Jones vs DC II if that doesn't pan out.

Dana has to much pride to fold. I think that he intends to make an example out of Conor. And I think that Dana White is right. I feel dirty just typing that last part.

The whole thing is so bizarre to me, and out of Conor's character, that I won't believe it's not a media stunt until the event actually happens.

The only thing stopping the fight at this stage is Dana's ego, it's personal for him.

Don't get me wrong Conor should have showed up, but Dana's speil about doing what's right is comical, week in week out the UFC do things based on money, not what's right.

Time for all involved to make some concessions and swallow their pride.

Judging by the posts I've been reading a lot of people believe that. But Dana isn't budging.

I watched the whole Press Conference and from a number of Dana's answers i think he's still trying to book this fight.

Nate stated a couple of times during the conference he only wants to fight Conor or he's going home.
Why was Nate there then?

Dana also said Nate hasn't shot any promos yet, and agreed with a reporter that there was still time. He wasn't happy about it but he pretty much admitted it's still a possibility.

I think Dana might just settle on HUGE fine and let the fight go on while still saving face.

Something like that would be the best thing for all involved, but Conor's a mad man so he might not even be willing to accept that.

I think people overestimate Dana's ego. He has been in the fight game so long, he has seen everything.
IMO this is not about Dana's ego its about the fact that everyone has to do the promotion no matter how big you are.
If they can somehow reinstate the fight while making it clear everyone has to do the promotion Dana will be the last thing in the way. I think he is trying to make it happen right now.
