Does Andrew Tate's performance reflect poorly on kickboxing?

Add Jordan Peterson to the same logic.

I was Toronto when Peterson was "some shitty teacher who recycles student thesis as his own work" and was caught, called out in his lecture by his former student (for the quoted part).

Years later, he is on the internet.
Then simps started worshipping him during lockdown.

The trends:
-camo & hi-viz fashion, insert mustaches
-podcasters... rogan, tate, peterson, kirk, etc
-cars and motorcycles as identity issues

The poser trends are wild these days.
There is no gatekeeping anymore.

Guys like Tate and Rogan get credit as "professional fighters" as much as Donald was a "successful businessman". It's fuckin an alternative reality. Participation prizes.
huh...? Joe Rogan is not cited as a professional fighter

huh...? Joe Rogan is not cited as a professional fighter

He has been called a former fighter on here, on his podcast to his face, in media outlets, etc...

To casuals, Rogan fought in touch butt at 15 and has the most devastating kick... that GSP had to learn it. Actually happened.

His "fight history" has been is saving grace of legitimation.

The rest of us know (better of) the real sides of these wacky people on (social) pedestals.

Posers must be found, thrown out, and DESTROYED.

This world needs more gatekeeping.

Couldn't agree more.

There is good and bad gatekeeping.
Some activities need a solid understanding of why gatekeeping needs to exist.

We are in the "participation award era".

Twenty years ago there was nobody taking Trump or Rogan seriously. BOTH were on "reality tv".
They were jokes.

Now they have worshippers.

I did not know Tate until the damn internet.
Looked up his career, kinda a joke.
Within hours of clicking on his fight info, my social was flooded with his trash about raping women without condoms to spread his seeds, and asking for men to sign up for his online school.

It's funny, we ALL shit on Fabia,
while a world of Diego's are trying to convince us to take these posers seriously.

RFK jr, goes on theo von and talks about doing cocaine off toilet seats, meanwhile he sounds fucked. This is the healthcare guy? Wild.

We got Strickland, goes on Theo Von,
cries. The guy who chirps the whole world and he fucking cries about his experiences. Wild.

At the end of the day... Who the fuck is Theo Von? He ain't a redneck, he ain't blue collar, he is just another poser.

Wild, Wild Country.
