Let's say you were really quick. And you just touched a guy, like opened your fist and tagged him on the legs, shoulders, head, etc... not hitting hard at all but lighting tapping and moving away and did this for 3 rounds with the guy barely touching you.

Could you win on points ?

If so could a Sprinter go into UFC and just win by outspeeding and tagging guys ???

I can see some insinuations leading up to a troll job.

Maybe, depends on who's scoring, but not as a significant strike.

no Im genuinly curious and I think its a legit question cuz there's no rules against it. I know there's significant strikes but they I've seen fights where guys won on points where they did not damage so im wondering if that would work in an extreme case.

a strike is a blow not a touch.

Yes but you don't need significant strikes to win tho they count more.

But if you did like 300 taps and kept running away ?

Well that's a fine line.... like Diaz open hand slaps and they count it. Sure that hurts on the face.

But, let's say I open hand slapped your legs and arms, and did karate chopsm and poked your stomach with open fingers, where is there a rule saying those are not strikes ?

Then I guess you would win, aslong as the other guy didn't land anything significant either. Judges try to reward something. They shouldn't though. They should have more 10/10 rounds.

does an eye poke count as a strike?

What about an oil check?

this is exactly what Brock did in rd 2 of the Hunt fight
he was just pawing at Hunt's face with an open hand trying to make it look like a jab

a slap is a strike... if it is snapped.
