I wish everyone in the executive team was stripped of their illgotten wealth and forced to fight someone who actually trains all day everyday for a living.
 
I wish it never changed from custom fight shorts.

Now it's so mainstream that fighters have to put on clown makeup and act.

I miss fighters being able to be individuals, like Alistair carrying that huge hammer to the ring, I miss the SHOW. The old heads will understand, but the fighting overall is better now.

You seem to be reaching back to the pre- Unified Rules era. That's too primitive for me to watch week after week. At this point, it's just a novelty. But if you were thinking about the Spike TV days, then I'm with you. I was much more excited about the UFC back then.
 
The evolution's better but I wouldn't mind the occasional sensei vs sensei tbh

Fights between highly skilled non-professional fighters putting their dojo's rep on the line do have a certain level of excitement that's rarely there anymore even if those fights are often lopsided & not always pretty

Easy, bro. There are a few personalities that thought, let's give T.S. a taste of his own medicine. I wont hate the guy you quoted just 'cause he was the OG of the thread. (The only part that I hate is that I wasn't) But we all know what Max Holloway says. I enjoyed reading the thread and responding. It's all fun and games here 'cause no one gets hurt. :)

No because science.

Science is counter productive if you do the same experiment over and over and over without learning anything. We learned the style answer in the first few UFCs. Grappling > non-grappling.
