it depends on the gym they're from, if they teach those values there or are more sport gyms. Most gyms don't, and most fighter don't come from Machida's or Cung's background, but from wrestling.
but, also, a common thing in all sports is that there's some respect after the contest is over, especially in a hard-fought contest. That's the kind of respect you often see in the UFC, not the TMA way that's based on a way of life. There are assholes in every sport who spit at you after a contest is over.
