Seems to me fighters that come to new promotions sometimes fight too safe or just don't have the greatest starting fight. Examples Pettis vs Guida and Bendo vs that Russian. So a win over a vet like Pearson not so bad for starters.

I had it 29-28 with Brooks winning rounds 1 & 2. Ross should've went for the finish instead of clinching when he had Brooks against the cage in the 3rd round.

Yep, first 2 were even, 3rd was fairly dominant for Pearson. Alvarez wins the title and people think all of a sudden any guy from Bellator's gonna come in and dominate. Pearson isn't even top 15, I can see a lot of names in the top 15 that would beat Brooks.
