Law do you think the US constitution and or America has failed?

You have troops being deployed in your own cities because of political differences, criminals pardoned based solely on party affiliation and superior courts that just do nothing. Do you really have to ask that question?

Maybe you are oblivious to this because you've taken democracy for granted for too long, but us third worlders recognize what we are seeing and know exactly how it all ends, unfortunately.
it's crazy how people will root for autocracy when they think it's their side. The sad part is the vast majority of maga will never benefit from this, in fact many will get hurt.

Not so much the Constitution has failed, but that it hasn't been updated and most of what makes a democracy function is institutions and tradition, not a magical document, which is what most people tend to treat it as.

How are those linked?

Because most of the migrants are from Latin America and no matter how many generations they've been here, no matter the teaching method, no matter if it's a blue or red city, blue or red state, rich city or poor city, high welfare, low welfare, they put out LOWER average test scores and higher crime rates than the whites that came here from Europe

Ah, I see you've been measuring skulls. Never mind that immigrants and their children commit less crime than native born Americans.

No, the constitution nor the US has failed. What we are seeing is the end result of Congress continuously ceding more and more power to the executive and then finding themselves with an executive willing to use that power.

Every couple of years, Congress passes some law where the other side says "Yeah, but what if our guy was in power? Can't you see the potential abuse?" And every time, people dismiss it because it provides expediency because their guy is in power.

Trump and the Project 2025 movement are the people that everyone was worried about. But this isn't a failing of the Constitution or the US. We won't have a failing until the end of Trump's term and we see what happens with the change of power.

From the outside looking in it's pretty clear Americans pretend to care about the constitution, but when push comes to shove if they deem their side is winning they'll rip it up in a heartbeat.
- Thats a very patriotic thing here:D

Not rip it up- just rationalize that their side is the one that follows the Constitution no matter how absurd the claim is. People twist its meaning for their own purposes almost as much as they do the Bible/Quaran.
- Like judges?

- And our armed forces didnt bend to Blowie. Can the same be said about american armed forces?

- Here we bout can comite the same crime and be given totally diferent sentences.
That's mostly not the Constitution though. Some of the supreme court's rulings are Constitutional, but criminal cases are mostly local or federal criminal law with wildly different sentencing between judges.

That is an understandable view from your position given information is so highly skewed to both extreme ends these days because that is what gets views which is further compounded by the amount of time you spend here.

But just like I don't think all Canadians go around farting on each other like Terrance and Phillip or parading around in black face like Trudeau, America is not what you see on the internet.

The open debate and challenge of the government at all levels is America at its best. That is the Constitution at work. Our biggest fear is actually not having that push and shove as that would mean the freedoms the Constitution is remarkably crafted to protect is lost.

1. in your opinion, what are the problems the country faces? National Debt

2. do you think they can be fixed with the current system? No

3. if they can't, what changes would you make to the constitution or system that would make your solutions possible? If you cant balance the budget or spend responsibly you get fired.

4. state your political leanings. Libertarianish
