Imagine trying to argue fighting Derrick Lewis is more scary than fighting Jon Jones. LOL. Jones made DC his bitch twice, and DC didn't even flinch before taking a short notice title defense against Derrick. So scary.

Jonathan isn't anywhere near strong enough to manhandle Ngannou the way he did DC. And he legit has zero KO power, while Francis sleeps most people he touches, and if Gus almost had him the fuck outta there rest assured that a much larger Ngannou would too.

Definitely not scared. But the UFC and Jones are smart to spin that narrative to legitimize the belt while also sabotaging Ngannou’s worth. Well played by the UFC. Cold, but effective.

It’s pretty clear imo Jones and Francis saw each other as the biggest challenge.

Jones know there is a good chance if Francis lands clean he goes night night.

Francis knows Jones has a very good chance to take him down and if he does he would likely get choked unconscious or elbowed in the face.

IMO I think Jones wins because he could probably avoid the big shot long enough for him to either get Francis down or wait for him to gas and then Jones takes him down easily.

I would not be surprised if Francis KO’D Jones but nobody knows, sucks Francis left the UFC so we’ll never find out.
