Ngannou literally admitted to being scared in the Derrick Lewis fight. If he's scared to fight Derrick fucking Lewis he's probably shitting himself thinking about fighting Jon Jones. The list of ridiculous demands he presented to the UFC says it all. He had no intention of ever re-signing so he opted to score some PR points on his way out with a list of demands that will get him lots of Reddit upvotes but anyone with over 50 IQ knows the UFC would never agree to.

The difference is that Lewis can KO anyone with his hands if he lands, while Jonathan has pillow fists and isn't KO'ing anyone at HW.

Please. If anything, at one point , Jon was talking about a payday with the " possibility" of Ngannou breaking his jaw ( something like that).
Gane is not Francis. Gane had a decent performance against a 1 legged Ngannou.

That said - man - this fight needs to happen and sooner than later. Ngannou s demands were unrealistic considering the sport he was in.
Ngannou needs to comeback and sign a 2 fight deal that sets him up for life ( and his next generation for that). There's so much meat on the bone that he left- its almost unthinkable

I think Ngannou knows what would happen to him. He’s a subpar athlete with a limited skillset who’s feasted on out of shape 40 year olds and one dimensional kickboxers for too long… he doesn’t have the grappling, footwork, or agility to defend himself from Jones gameplan.

I would give Jon a chance to eat a couple of punches from Francis, under the right circumstances.
