Do you think Khamzats physique is big factor to his success?

The advantage both Jones and khamzat have is that they seem unusually strong somehow. Much stronger than their physiques would indicate. Their body types aren't usually associated with strength and there's other guys who are built like that who aren't that strong

And Khamzat has not fought and beat anyone worth a damn besides Whittaker who DDP KO’d so you are just a silly fanboy.

Khamzat got dropped by a much smaller Burns and basically pulled put a very close decision.

Clearly, the odds are way off if your interpretation is correct.

Fact checked that fool. Bravo.
1 loss by KO ( vs Khamzat), 3 losses by TKO.

Clearly, there's a difference between KO and TKO, otherwise why would they use both of the terms when they announce the results at the end of the fight.

So his fact check was absolute bs. Bravo.

Khamzats wiry, multipurpose physique alway struck me as one of the most intimidating you could ever face in MMA. Add to that superior grappling skills.

Why do people always praise Jones body type but not Khamzat? I know he doesnt have that height to reach ratio but it's an awesome body for MMA.

Do you think Khamzats physique is big contributing factor to his success?
They don’t compare him to Jones because he hasn’t beaten more than a half-dozen champions.

Khamzat has been a huge disappointment up to this point.

Reasons/excuses abound,,,, but people lost interest and excitement for the guy a while ago.

He has a lot of work to do before he is compared to Jones

Clearly, you are boasting a win vs Gerald which is, clearly, laughable and lame. Clearly.

I think our original topic was Khamzat's KO-power.

For some reason, you think it doesn't count because the guy he KOd wasn't good enough.
I then pointed out that he was the one and only of GM3s 50 something opponents to separate him from his consciousness.

Then you went back to the Burns/Usman talking points just by old habit as a kind of self-soothing, like a toddler hugging his favorite teddy bear.

Good night.

It's amazing he hits 170. He looked bigger than DDP.

I don't think Khamzat's physique is anything imposing. Maybe moreso at WW. Dude is just skilled at wrestling and has KO power. Maybe he's a middle ground between the different extremes of physiques.
I think his KO’s are more from his opponents being so focused on defending takedowns they leave the chin exposed.

Khamzat goes for broke and when he faces adversity tomorrow, he is crumbling

He has the most impressive physique I've ever seen since Arnold Swishandburger.

Not really his physique as much as his well trained nervous system and elite wrestling. And like Cain his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness, an insane work ethic, but without enough wisdom to know when he should back off. Maybe he's fixed that, and if he has then he's going to be hard to stop any time soon.

Not nearly as much as people seem to think. If you have watched Khamzat grappling with less force, u can tell right away that he is insanely talented and skilled.

I think this thread was only made after Khamzat approached Dricus on YouTube looking dramatically larger.

To be fair, Khamzat may be the bigger guy, but how many fights have we seen that it doesn't matter?

I think it's just the dagi style wrestling. They pressure you against the cage and then use the cage to secure takedowns with their constant chain wrestling.

They would get utterly destroyed in PRIDE fighting, because they're not exceptionally good at getting takedowns in the open space like GSP was.

His strength is what makes him so good at grappling & wrestling. If Chimaev had a gas tank & was able to keep up his relentless pace for 5 rounds he would be unstoppable.
No one can keep that pace. Khamzat fights with a nervous energy that he can't be sustained. The big question I want answered is can he fight at a measured pace (wich I doubt) and if he can will his wrestling be as affective.
