The law is the law. Compassion has nothing to do with it. So yeah, tough shit.
You literally just made an exception for Trump's wife. IF the law was the law, half our politicians would be in prison. But they're not. If the law was the law, all of us would be paying fines for downloading music, pirating, and streaming. You just speak from a position that has absolutely no connection to this argument so you can go on living in your own little bubble proclaiming idealistic bullshit like the law is the law.
It was once law that black and white people couldnt eat together. Were the people who violated that law criminals in your mind?
please explain to me why someone should be allowed to live here for those extenuating circumstances. without an emotional appeal of course, lest I write you off as an emotional child.
Well let's start with what crime did this child commit? You do know that presence in the U.S up until 18 years old is not illegal right?
If there is no crime, what basis do you have for punishing this person? This person literally had no knowledge, intent, or any real responsibility to not enter the united states illegally. This a child. Besides, most illegal immigrants just get visas to come here and over stay, so their entry was legal. Their presence until 18, is not illegal. So where is the crime?
Why can't we? What was is the original act that folks disapproved of?
Do you think they'd actually follow it and seek citizenship?

House republicans don't want to allow these law abiding people to become tax paying citizens.
And let me ask you a question? Do you truly believe living undocumented here is some paradise? All the undocumented people I've met use other people;s ssn to work and they have to pay taxes on top of paying a fee to this person for permission to use their ssn. My classmate from college worked a full time job to pay for college tuition. He would an arm for u.s citizenship if he could.
