"Do You Think I Should Be Deported?"

I define my own morality. But let's not pretend there aren't superior moral positions to others.

How about let's not pretend at all, because there actually are. It is convenient that you would come to that conclusion though. You'd have to reduce yourself to that absurdity to defend your disgustingly atrocious and immoral hyper-statist advocacy.

Absolutely. In those cases it would be morally responsible to kill them before they did more harm.

Oh, so now you have moral absolute positions... like murder. How time flies between posts #347 and #380!

I don't know what to tell you man . . . until the laws are thoroughly enforced or revised to account for a situation like you described, oh wait . . . wasn't that the point of DACA?

I get it. Illegals put their kids in a bad situation without intending to do so . . . I'm not a fan of kicking someone out of the only home they've known, but we definitely need to address the issue better than we are now.

The original dream act would have allowed people like this a way to become tax paying citizens but we can't have that can we? We need to create a pathway to citizenship for these people with stringent protocols.
I'm sorry - did you misread my post and think I said only criminals get deported?

So why should she get deported?

So why should she get deported?
as I said before,

anyone here illegally should probably be deported on that fact alone. anyone here illegally who is also a criminal should be deported instantly.

the only reason she should stay is if she is deemed a net benefit to our country.

We can make clear moral distinctions and we do it all the time. And many of those distinctions are universal. And if we want to deduce whether moral positions are superior we can do that too.

Do you think less or no suffering is better, or more moral, than no suffering if it has a cause?

So you are saying tough shit, doesnt matter you didnt come here on your own accord and were brought here by your parents without you knowing anything about what you were doing, since i highly doubt foreign kids are taught immigration law at 3 years old, you still gotta leave after growing up here. I just want to clear that up before I write you off a retard.

The law is the law. Compassion has nothing to do with it. So yeah, tough shit.

please explain to me why someone should be allowed to live here for those extenuating circumstances. without an emotional appeal of course, lest I write you off as an emotional child.

Why can't we? What was is the original act that folks disapproved of?

Do you think they'd actually follow it and seek citizenship?

Probably not. I know I wouldn't if I was in that situation. I'd be to scared of getting denied and then they'd have all my information to come deport me. Maybe if I could find a way to do it so that I'm not giving out my real house address or job information.

Unless they're a criminal or something what do you think would prevent a 20 year-old who was brought here illegally as a 2 year-old from being approved for citizenship? Assuming they're either going to college or otherwise a productive "citizen".

You must have had a conversation in your head because in reality you didn't destroy anything. Shit, you didn't even try to understand my position so that you can "destroy it". It's pointless to talk to people like you. You already have your mind made up so you don't even have to listen to other views. Your loss.

Again, if you're so closed minded that it is "black and white" and like you said in your last post "I don't care" why the fuck are you going back and forth on this? Stop wasting time.

are you literally shaking?

Really don't know. Just the fact that there's even a chance I could be denied/deported would be scary. Honestly I'd probably look online to see who all had success with the program.

I completely agree with you. *ehigh five*. I knew we'd find something, and I'm glad to read you haven't joined the mental disease of relativism.

As for your question, absolutely. That's why I drop by here to reiterate why governments are single worst institutions humanity has ever come up with.

That's off topic and I'm aware of your position there. Not sure what the hell this was all about.
