Isn't it a bit like being a WWE fan?

I'm a big MMA fan but I wouldn't bring it up in conversation unless I knew the person I was talking to also was a fan. Even then I'd probably change the subject lol.

I wouldn't wear a Tapout shirt.

I wouldn't rock a Chuck Liddell mohawk.

Etc Etc.

How do you feel about this?

You're not a true fan of MMA if you're this insecure about being a fan.

Ofc brah.

You gotta embrace that shit. I also train tho. Everyone who knows me knows that i fucking love this shit. Most people don't know much about it. So i try to keep MMA out of most of my conversations but if the persons has shown some interest and has talked to me about it. I'll talk about it all motherfucking day.

no, unless they ask what sports i watch, if they change their opinion on me based on something minor as what sports i watch and do, than they are obviously someone u dont really wanna be friends with

I would but I’m a vegan crossfitter who adopts rescue dogs. By the time I’m finishing up a story there’s no one around to talk to.

Yes. I usually go up to the hottest girl in the club and say "Hi, I like MMA." In the rare event they aren't drippin like a faulty tap I then say "I was nominated for sherdog poster of the year."

It never becomes a topic of conversation unless there is currently some form of MMA on a television or if I wear my UFC hat and the person clearly wants to have a reason to talk to me, asks me if I like it (No, I hate MMA but I wear this UFC hat).....

I don't make it a point to let people know I like MMA.... I think you'd have to be a strange individual to just randomly bring something like that up.

People can tell i like mma. The huge traps, the grotesquely musclebound fingers, the constant staph infections and the unmistakable funk of earthgrown nutrients

I like to condescendingly tell people that “I’m not into stick and ball sports, I prefer combat sports.”

I typically talk to grandma's about how I like cage fighting.

It just depends on the audience but I have zero reservations talking about MMA if it comes up in conversation.

nope. if they dont know what mma is, we aint friends

sorry mom

When i touch people with the jab, they figure it out pretty fast. No need for the wasted movement of your lips saying the words.
