I’ve read their 2A-related decisions. And unfortunately, just about every one of them since 2008 is wrong. The exception to that being Rahimi, although they had to play really loosely with Bruen to get to the correct result, because Bruen is a ridiculous pile of shit.

This typically means forcing *his* interpretation of the Constitution is enough to overturn precedents—since the very existence of precedent means other justices have heard the case and don’t think the Constitution means what Thomas thinks it means—but in this instance we truly would be returning the nation to what the 2A originally meant, how it was interpreted by SCOTUS pre-2008, and the way the 2A functioned from 1792-2008, when it functioned properly.

I think when people say gun culture it's less gun culture and more weirdos obsessed with guns and/or military/survivalist shit.

I have six guns and shoot regularly. I talk to normal people at the range who have guns and like to shoot, think self-defense is important and so on. We sometimes talk about a new gun someone got or bullshit about life. Technically, that's gun culture.

Then there's the guys who show up in full camo, usually with targets of zombies or human silhouette type, can't have normal conversations not about their guns or some weird scenario that inevitably involves them having to shoot people.

Those people are creepy and what I think people mean when they say gun culture.
