Do you miss video rental places?

Bored out of my mind today and scanning the streaming sites and I see nothing I want to see. I miss the days of walking the isles of the rental places, looking at VHS covers that looked so cool and mysterious. This gives any movie lover the feels, especially the more rare and exotic films.

If this is truly about not being able to find a movie to watch you gotta use the internet more. There are countless articles and threads that give recommendations on any genre. We got way more choices today(which on the other hand is a curse because our expectations and attention spans are tough to contend with today)

Aw back in the day where you had to choose a movie or video game just based on the back of the box lol By the 00's the mom and pop rental stores were all but gone and replaced by big chains like Blockbuster.

The nostalgic part of me does. It was always fun going and looking at movies and trying to decide by the box if you wanted to rent it. Back before all the internet and immediate reviews

I still remember riding my bike to the local video store to rent Air Force One and Goldeneye 007 going home happy as fuck I got the last copy for both

Not the bland blockbusters but the smalltime places were you could look though much more obscure releases yes I do, especially video nasty type of films were the cover was probably much better than the film itself....
