Do you like the kind of trash talk we've seen lately (DDP/Colby)

Strickland is no saint, he also offends other fighters and even their families, so he had it coming.

This shit may appeal to retarded teenagers. But they need to rein it in.

U Fight Cheap and its wife beating PowerSlap President are kidding themselves if they think continuing to let their brand sink ever further into the mud is a smart long-term strategy. It will eventually scare networks and advertisers away.

Somebody needs to pull Ari's head out of a another man's ass long to explain that scumbag Dana's love for this shit will eventually hurt their brand.

I like trash talk when it's good, it makes the fight more intense and exciting. Like Bisping vs Luke was good trash talk, it was real and it didn't get too personal. Conor vs Nate was good. What guys like Colby are doing is just bad, crossing the line bringing up dead family members. When it gets too personal it's bad.

It's entertaining to me, even if I know some of the stuff that's being said now is pretty bad lol.

Classless low hanging fruit. I hope this isn't how every fuckin ppv is gonna be. More about the pressers then the fights. Fuckin lame

Absolute trash and teenage girlish drama.

I don't know why they call this sort of thing drama with women and "trash-talk" with men. It is really the same thing.

When I worked in prison, there was ALWAYS that kind of drama going on between inmates, even though no one would identify it as such. It most certainly was a bunch of drama queens. That's the sign of a drama queen, always stirring up conflict and drama, always gravitating toward that.

Colby and Sean are massive drama queens. DDP hadn't so much been that way before this, and I think was probably reacting to Sean; I doubt he would say anything like that to someone respectful.

I'm pretty sure DDP and Sean have a gentleman's agreement to hype the fight no matter what.
I liked the creative trashtalk ala Ali and Sonnen, this is just "What's the worst thing that happened to my opponent".
It'll never compare to saying the coach of your opponent tried to feed a carrot to a bus or that you're so fast, when you switch off the lights in your hotel, you're under the covers before the lights go off.

Honestly it is a bit uncomfortable and ugly. I can take one person doing it but when everyone is doing it then it becomes a Jerry Springer type show. You can have charisma without being so crass or at least tone it down. You don't gotta bring up molestation and childhood beatings.

I will admit that I don't blink twice when I see boxers use the other F bomb in their press conferences. I used to hear that word all the time at the boxing gym. Someone is either saying it or some form of homophobia was coming out of the music speakers.

i think it's better when the cage fighters who's occupation it is to destroy brains, say what's on their mind. nothing worse than a bunch of fighters who pretend they are holier than thou, yet cheat, lie, get exemptions, pretend like they aren't gaming the system doing steroids, and having their managers/athletic commissions cover for them. just say it already. being authentic is far better than pretending you're the gaterade flavor of the month.
