Nature & Animals Do you like cats?

Yes. I’ve owned many dogs through my life and only had one cat; A gray tuxedo cat named Tom. He was awesome. My parents wouldn’t keep him inside though, but he lived over a decade as an outside cat in a rural area. He’d come and go whenever he pleased. He’d go missing for months and always come back. Sometimes he’d come back kinda fat, so someone else was probably feeding him too, probably several people.

idk, i find dog people irritating. always letting their dogs run off the leash, talkin about "oh he's friendly haha" so they come up and jump all over you with muddy paws, or interact with the dog youre currently with (my sister just got a dog) and youre like, hey, thats great man, but idk how my dog is gonna react to your dog, and we're also tryna train them rn so can you not???

anyways, i find any person weird when they refer to their cats or dogs as their children, or refer to themselves as a parent, even weirder if they baby talk.
Agreed. Those type of dog owners are annoying as hell. They are probably annoying altogether, and just happen to have dogs. Some around here try to take up the whole sidewalk or running path with their dogs and look at me like I need to go into the grass or dirt. Nope. I’ll go through your group if anything. Humans>pets

Also agreed. The worst is anyone saying “fur babies”. Sure thing, lady.

Love cats. I grew up with them, so I have an affinity towards them.

I'd get a dog if I ever got another pet though. All of my childhood cats, six of them, were indoor outdoor and the survival rate was dire.

No and we have a cat, it's a pain in the fucking arse, always on the wrong side of a door

yes all my animals became clingy as fuck. My cats used to follow me around on dog walks. it was nice but super annoying because if someone passed us they'd go into hiding and I'd have to go back and search for them after.

Cats are great. Like dogs more, but I've owned cats in the past.

Meh, not in general. Their litter box stinks and track that shit everywhere.

I like them, we always had at least one cat when I was growing up, and at times two. It's good company and it's amusing to watch them go at it with their murderous shenanigans.

I have always had cats, even have a thread here......Cool Cats.

Dogs will freak out when they see you, jumping around acting goofy, not cats, there it;s......yo what;s up. Gotta love it.
I had a cat that would actually kind of go nuts when I got home. He would always be meowing that door when I walked up to it like I could hear him through the door. Then I would be trying to get in and he would be weaving all around my feet while I was trying to get my shoes off. Same thing in the morning- running around and jumping in my lap while I was trying to get ready for work.

It usually annoyed me but even then I also knew I would miss it when he was gone. I was right. He died a few years ago and I still think about him a lot.

Yeah, pretty much.
Cats are all around here; they have mall cats & store cats.
Pretty friendly/chill too.
My guy gets along with cats, but sometimes gets scratched in the face, when tries to greet. lol.
Cats are allright wm.
