Do you judge people by what they are drinking at a bar?

I like Corona and I usually order it if I'm drinking beer.

My go to drink is a tequila sunrise made with a double shot of Patron. I can care less what anyone thinks.

About to make a bad decision or two

The only time I recall judging was when I was at a bar last year that had a wide selection of quality beer, and yet the one most people were asking for was Bud Light. I was appalled, couldn't wrap my mind around it.

I dont really give a shit what other people are drinking.

So I would say no.

If you are drinking cheap shitty beer cos you dont got enough money, so what? thats fine.

If you actually like cheap shitty beer and could afford better but stick to the crap, thats fine too, I dont give a fuck

People drink Bud lights because they are probably the cheapest beer the place has, and they are there to get drunk, not taste it.

So you check out other men at the bar?
I don't have certain flowchart however I had stuff maybe approx like hole in Harlem worst areas ...they had pub/ bar and car park and hotel/ hostel plus saunas and 24/7 retail store. I was shift manager, young guy from this area. Area like bad for York.
Yes, I had to calculate condition they does have etc if they were well paying regular customers and to watch what stuff with them might do security perssonel etc or how to make them to spend more, pay more and still with some % of humanity.

I fully understand the 'cheap and easy' aspect. In my case, whenever I drink light beer, it's specifically so that I don't get drunk after slamming several. It was still relatively early by the time I left, so perhaps each one of them planned on staying there all night until the place closed.

The only people that bother me are the ones that are super beer snobs. I drink bourbon because it's good and not too filling, same for light beer. Beer fills me up and I dont like IPA. Occasional REALLY cold Guinness on tap is about it.
I'm a beer snob, but I don't like IPAs. I firmly believe the world has far to many IPAs and not nearly enough Brown ales or Saisons.
I certainly judge people who will pick a bottled beer over tap beer, absolutely. I don't think I've ever not chosen tap beer if it's available.
So my father-in-law did this while we were out for dinner after my daughter high school graduation "It's not draft, is it?" My inner dialogue was WTF?

Same FIL and his bubddy who's frequently around are like this. We plan a trip to some local breweries and their request is "what do you got that tastes like a bud light?"
In a brewery.

Then why go to places like a craft brewery then? Again using my FIL as an example, he would have one and can definitely afford better.
All of the family gatherings he's curious about what beer I've carried with me this time, but he wants nothing to do with it. My MIL likes the occasional fruited beer or shandy I might bring over in the summer, and my brother-n-law likes the imported Hefeweizens, so I'll bring a few extra for him.

No, I couldn't care less.

People drink non alcoholic booze nowadays.

And if a guy is drinking those premix lolly drinks I won't judge them, I'll just know they're gay which is fine.
Bottled beer is the way to go if you have suspicions about the place not being very good or if it is not a beer bar. Draft beer, when the keg is open for too long, is not good. Shady places may add some stuff you don't want in your beer. In all other cases draft it is.
