Growing up and learning to drive in NYC…shit, I’ll put my car in a spot with 1” space between me and the other cars..
<Moves>

I always state First Time Every Time before parking exactly like this.

I think every guy who cannot parallel park should lose his man card.

I worked valet for fancy Restaurants in NYC. Some of the tightest lots with weird angels. Parking Jags, Benzes, Rolls, Porsche’s, hell even raised trucks. I took those few years and became a master. I watched guys never get parallel parking, I guess it’s like anything else, some can and some can’t. I suck at Golf. College athlete. Good in everything. Can’t play Golf...the swing feels unnatural and I drive like shit.

I used to think it was kind of fun. My current car has a good backup cam, so it's become extremely easy

It can be tricky/hard if you're on a one-way street and trying to parallel park on the opposite side of the road from what you're used to.

I avoid it. Think I've done it maybe once or twice in my life when there was no other option. I'll walk before I parallel park.

It's not super difficult, it's just annoying. Someone is always on your ass to go forward and back in to spot is nearly impossible. Then you have to deal with a tight squeeze, someone denting up your car and trying to get out of the spot. Pass...

This is my thoughts as well. Other than for my driving test I've never done it. It was easy during the test and all the times I practiced it was easy as well. It's just something I don't want to deal with. Last time I thought I had to do it on vacation we just decided to walk instead and see the city. Then we took an uber back.

It scares me to parallel park. Especially when traffic is busy. It's fucken stressful as hell. lol

I used to be the bollocks parking, then California happened and it all went to pot.

I'm an expert at it. Just line your side mirror up with theirs and start cutting the wheel while checking your mirrors. If there are cars behind you just let them wait.

I despise it, because I can go years between having to do it, and we had "maneuverability" instead as part of the driving test. So, I have never had the chance to become comfortable with it.

I can do it, but I hate it. The worst is when they make you do it with a fucking fire truck for your License. At no time ever in my 20 year career have I ever needed to parallel park.

I rarely if ever have to. It doesn't bother me though. Back in High School I had to do it everyday with a manual truck and no power steering.

God bless reverse cameras. I would struggle to get out without them. My boomer dad always made fun of me when I have to wait for the screen to turn on as soon as I start the car lol.

You would hate it too if you had to parallel park a crewcab diesel fullsize 4x4 truck, in the city, where parking spaces are desinged for cars and SUVs.
don't be mad homey, I just be jokin
