Or whose food does not meet your expectations?

Lets say you are at a restaurant, and the food isn't tasty enough. Do you go on Yelp or Trip Advisor and give a low rating?

Discuss.

Yelp is ruining a lot of local business. People who leave yelp reviews over 3 sentences long are psychopaths. I don't know what's gotten into people that makes them think they know anything about food.

You sound salty. Although I don't use yelp myself, I see nothing wrong with rating and sharing info about restaurants. It forces them to step their game up.

I wouldn't give a bad review to small unestablished restaurant because I feel like I'm fucking with someone's livelihood.

But I find established restaurants to be fair game.

And I also reviewed someone elses review in my own review.

What kind of a tard goes to a Jewish Deli and says they are average based on the fucking pork roll?

Are there varying degrees of pork roll I'm unaware of? YOU CHOSE THE PORK ROLL YOU DUMB SLUT.

It's like going to strip club and complaining about the strippers nail polish.

And Doug Stanhope writes the best reviews.

You won't sell me a single breakfast burrito?

"We only sell them in pairs."

What are you, fucking Noah?

You are that fucking desperate or cruel that you make people in a hurry, forced to eat horrible shit in a sprint to make a connection, buy two of shit if they want to eat shit?

"Oh, we only sell Double Cheeseburgers in Quads."

"16 oz drinks only come in quarts."

I'd smash your face with a boat oar if you were the person responsible.

If I weren't so happy to be going home I'd be smiling in a Michigan prison with the Hamburglar for cutting the Clown's throat.

You get two stars for not being Burger King. Stop being leechy assholes.

Having read Emily R's one-star review of Mornings Cafe, I couldn't wait to eat there. It's hard to find veggie burgers "dripping in meat juice" the way she described and that's exactly how I like mine.

Unfortunately, when I ordered it, I was told that they do not nor have they ever carried meat juice as a topping.

Worse yet, they told me so with a smile. Seems I couldn't even get the "attitude" Emily griped about. I love a bad attitude in the morning. It gives me a reason to be cranky in return.

So there I sat with no meat juice from a pleasant server. Turns out that Emily R is a giant fat pig-faced liar. Who reviews the reviewers, says I!!! I drove nearly three blocks based on her lies!

Fortunately I always carry an old thermos of curdled meat-squeezings in my tool kit in the company truck and was able to secret a small helping into the restaurant to smear on the veggie patty under the table.

Delicioso!

So far as alleged (and expected) poor demeanor of the staff, I had to do a little creative maneuvering. As I paid my bill, I asked the server if she'd like to come back to my place and watch ISIS beheading videos on my iPhone. It didn't quite garner the "attitude" I was promised but the stunned look of bewilderment still kept Mornings Cafe in 5-Star territory.

Bravo!

No it doesnt

They either step their game up, or go out of business due to the negative Yelp reviews... like you previously mentioned. Are you saying restaurant owners don't care if they go out of business?

Im saying theyre more inclined to make retarded decisions that effect the restaurant negetively in the long term to staisfy the whims of a bunch of retards on Yelp

Yelp is the voice of the people, but the people are usually retarded.

Too risky if you intend to go back after giving them a bad review.

I did a few reviews a while ago, but quickly got over it. Most of them were positive reviews. Only wrote a couple of bad reviews but that was mostly about terrible service, or to warn people about something they might not expect. I kinda regret writing them, but everything I said was true.

I've never had the urge to write a yelp review....

In my opinion, if you take the time to give bad reviews, then you should probably be giving good reviews for the ones you do appreciate. If you only care to give bad reviews, then you're probably just an asshole.

I don't yelp nor even read the reviews. It's all crap.
