***Do you cut through gas stations/businesses to avoid red lights?***

So you are approaching a red light, there are several cars in the right lane that is preventing you from making a right turn, do you do it?

I'm not a cop, so it's not a trap. I've done it once in my life, seen someone get ticketed for it and haven't done it since. I saw a guy get busted today for doing it right in front of me.

Constantly. Hesitate a bit, look at the prices, drive off. I've gotten pulled over 2x for it, argued my way out of both
 
No, I am usually ahead of schedule when I go places. No reason to ever have to do it.
 
Nah. I did when I was still in Saint Louis but here I never have.

But I will also say that I don't sit in the right lane if I'm going straight on a two-lane road.
 
Sometimes. Some of our lights are very long.

However, since they finally got rid of the BS red light cameras, I usually just run the red light. Maybe 2 lights a day.


Also, sometimes when a retard is sitting in the turn lane w/ an open lane on the left, I will go into the left lane and go around the person to make my turn.

Of course, I am always pretty cautious of the Police man. Obviously, I won't do any shenanigans if I sense a cop around.

A few streets, I even turn right at the red light and make a U-turn on the cross street and then turn right again on the designated street and still beat the light by 15-20 seconds.
 
If I'm angry or late, I'll think about it.
Usually don't though, most of the lights around here are reasonable.
(Also worth noting that I'm more likely to do it to get around a specific car than to avoid a light... goddamn old people/Canadians/old Canadian people)
 
could be a safety concern, but probably just another ploy for more money.

I have been driving for almost 20 years now and have never seen anyone get pulled over for this.
 
No. The car i drive most of the time and my bike are pretty fast. So if i get held up at a light ill pass ppl later on. Plus if im on my bike i can usually squeeze by ppl on the right unless theyre total dicks

This guy fuckin' gets it.

Driving is a privilege, and not a right. I detest selfish morons who blatantly break laws and endanger people's lives in order to shave 15 seconds off the commute they should have started 5 minutes earlier, instead of indulging in one last snooze-bar cycle.

Children walk around in parking lots and gas stations when they come out of store and heading to their cars. They arent expecting someone flying through at 30mph because they arent standing in a road

Thanks but, whoa dude, chill. I could see someone cutting through the gas station flying at low altitude not paying attention but no one is going to admit to being "that guy". Did I say I hate them? Maybe hate wasn't the correct word.

But for you however...
