Do you consider your diet healthy?
What's your height and weight?

My niece is pretty chubby, and my mother (her grandmother) fails to see that she's the one causing her to gain more weight.
I tried to explain that tons of candy and ice cream every day isn't good for you, but my sis (her mother) and my mother were very defensive and upset about my comments.

Then I remembered my friend, who is fat, but thinks he eats clean food. It's like his idea of healthy food is way off.

My diet is healthy compared to average westerner.

Compared to any other perso my diet sucks.

I ate three pieces of thin crust veggie pizza last night.

I ate 3 rotisserie chickens before posting this

yes kind of.

Not during the weekend

5'8
170ish

Most definitely. I eat whatever I want so long as it fits my macros.

About your friend I think a lot of it comes down to education, I saw an article about a guy who didn't understand why he was overweight.

He put jam (1 serve of fruit) on his cereal (Special K, healthy for you) then cream (serve of dairy because that's good for you) would eat fried chicken for lunch (chicken is healthy for you) and lots of asian takeaway (which has lots of veggies in it), when he ordered pizza he would get Vegetarian (veggies!) and would get things like banana fritters with his fish and chips because...banana.

That was his train of logic and he was dumbfounded when he realised how much he was eating.

About your niece, obviously women can get defensive about that especially if your aunt/mother are overweight and take it personally. Try talking with her yourself about it and she may start requesting healthier food herself, sounds like going through your mum and aunt might not be very successful.

You perfectly described my friend.
I tried to explain she doesn't care and gets upset when I shutter her beliefs.
A couple of days I told her that common cold is actually a virus, she got angry.

I'm frustrated by this whole situation, just wanted to share this with someone.

Considering how hard I work out, I'm kind of ashamed of my diet. I make sure to control my calorie intake, but usually what I eat is complete shit. Too many frozen dinners, too much fast food for lunch.

I do keep the sugar to a minimum though.

I eat healthy. I just eat a lot to keep my weight up for powerlifting. I'm 6'00 and around 245 lbs.

I'm really healthy when I cook but if I'm out drinking, pizza is prob gonna happen or tacos so I'd say I'm pretty balanced but could be better.

I'm a great cook and I make good, balanced meals for my family, but I'm also a sugar glutton oopsie

5'10 190lbs

Got a bit of a belly on me but my upper torso is still looking ok.

All my meals are home cooked with fresh products and here and there i'll go out for dinner with the wife but its never chain restaurants or junk food, its always local restaurants where my diet won'T suffer but my wallet will.

Problem is that i'll drink alcohol 4-5times per week with my meals.

Tuesday i eat at the inlaws, drink wine. Thursday through saturday i'll drink with my gf and sundays i eat at my parents, drink some wine.

Cutting out the alcohol is too hard for me and i dont actually want to do it, but if i did i'd probably shred a little bit of my gut.

I eat a very healthy diet and lead a healthy lifestyle. I don't count calories but I just stay away from fatty foods in general like pizza, burgers, etc. I eat lots of an salds, fruits, grains and yogurt every day for snacks. Lean meats with veggies for dinner typically. I also do 250 pushups, 200 sit ups and run 7.5 miles every day (with a few rest days here and there.) Whey protein shakes after working out. I'm 5'10", 155 lbs with very defined muscles/eight pack. I bust my ass every day to take great care of my body.

I'd say decent. Typical day:

Bowl of oats, milk, honey
Rice cakes with peanut butter
Black/green tea
Chicken strips
Potato chips
Bowl of mixed veggies
Beef tacos
More chips
A couple of 85% chocolate bars

Depends.

Are these healthy?

I eat very clean. It makes a huge difference to how I feel and look.
